Oregano is a Mediterranean plant encountered from Truva to Mersin in TURKEY. The plant is appr. 30-40cm long. It is seen all the cost along Mediterranean Sea.
Oregano is used either as a culinary or pharmaceutical purposes. It is known that Oregano is antibacterial and antifungial material. As a folk remedy it is prepared like tea aromatic and known good for curing cold , stomach pains and reducing blood sugar. Oregano's Oil also has been extracted and used for industrial purposes and keeping foods fresh.
