SAPONARY ROOTS (SOAPWORY ROOTS)

It is a very branched, multi-annual, root-rooted, herbaceous plant that blooms in June-July, is 50-60 cm high. Its leaves are sessile and pale green. Its flowers are small pink and white. The seeds are small, almost kidney-shaped, brown in color and rough on top. From the beating of its roots, gypsum is obtained. There are about 27 species in our country. The parts of the plant used are their roots.
